Culture Shock

Hello everyone and welcome to my first blogg ever!

This past month has been quite challenging when learning the tricks of the trade ;) But now I can say I am equipped with information and confident to take charge with the rest of the sabbatical team.
It’s something like culture shock; all of a sudden I have to be in the office early, attend meetings, make decisions and take action that can make a difference.

I apologise for the inconvenience the refurbishment of the Source may have brought when trying to visit my office. An alternative route is through the end of Coffee Revolution, through the back door on the right and then the 3rd door on the right. Not difficult at all! : p Oh and pick up a latte for me on the way. Jokes, jokes…

I have so many ideas for this year concerning activity, so watch out for the banners and posters. The events aren’t only for international students, so home students please come along. This union gives you the chance to experience the whole world in one night! Dare to experience something completely different and exciting.

Philosophy for thought: Culture is such a funny thing; it excites, intrigues, frightens and shocks. Just makes you think that this world is a heck of an interesting place to be apart of.

So go on, dip your toes in some culture!
